Oman's Foreign Minister meets Minister of Foreign Affairs of the UAE
Oman's Foreign Minister, Sayyid Badr Albusaidi met today in Dubai with His Highness Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the United Arab Emirates.
During the meeting, both sides discussed the strong historic ties between the Sultanate of Oman and the UAE and explored ways of strengthening their overall cooperation. The ministers also discussed a number of issues of mutual concern and the latest regional and global developments.
Sayyid Badr Albusaidi stressed the brotherly relations between the two countries and congratulated the UAE on winning the bid to host the Conference of Parties to the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (COP28) in 2023. He also expressed his best wishes to the UAE for further progress and prosperity, under the leadership of His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the United Arab Emirates.
HH Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan highlighted the deep-rooted strategic relations between the UAE and Oman, supported by the two countries' leaderships, stressing his keenness to consolidate and develop cooperation in all fields. He also expressed his best wishes to Oman for further progress and prosperity, under the leadership of His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik Al Said, Sultan of Oman.
