His Majesty to visit Bahrain on Monday
His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik will go on an official two-day visit to the Kingdom of Bahrain this Monday, according to a statement issued by the Diwan of Royal Court today.
The statement reads as follow: “In affirmation of the deep-rooted relations binding the Sultanate of Oman and the Kingdom of Bahrain and based on the keenness of the two countries’ leaderships to enhance joint ties, His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik will go on an official two-day visit to Bahrain with effect from Monday, 24th October 2022, in response to an invitation from King Hamad bin Issa Al Khalifa of Bahrain.
“The visit will explore areas of the existing cooperation between the two countries in various spheres and the means of promoting them to serve interests of the Omani and Bahraini peoples and meet their aspirations for further progress and prosperity.
“During the visit, His Majesty the Sultan will be accompanied by a high-ranking delegation comprising His Highness Sayyid Shihab bin Tarik Al Said, Deputy Prime Minister for Defence Affairs; Sayyid Khalid bin Hilal Al Busaidi, Minister of the Diwan of Royal Court; General Sultan bin Mohammed Al Nomani, Minister of the Royal Office; Sayyid Hamoud bin Faisal Al Busaidi, Interior Minister; Sayyid Badr bin Hamad Al Busaidi, Foreign Minister; Sultan bin Salim Al Habsi, Minister of Finance and Sayyid Faisal bin Hareb Al Busaidi, Ambassador of the Sultanate of Oman to the Kingdom of Bahrain.
May the Almighty Allah protect His Majesty the Sultan wherever he might be and guard him as a treasured source of pride and inspiration to his nation!”
