Crown Prince of Kuwait receives Minister
His Highness Sheikh Sabah Al Khaled Al Hamad Al Mubarak Al Sabah, Crown Prince of the sisterly State of Kuwait, received Oman’s Foreign Minister Sayyid Badr Albusaidi at Bayan Palace as part of the Minister’s official visit to Kuwait.
During the meeting, Sayyid Badr conveyed the greetings of His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik and His Majesty’s warm wishes to his brother, His Highness Sheikh Meshal Al Ahmad Al Jaber Al Sabah, Emir of Kuwait, and to the Kuwaiti people for continued growth and prosperity, along with his aspirations for further development in bilateral relations.
The Crown Prince, in turn, conveyed the Emir’s warm regards and appreciation to his brother, His Majesty Sultan Haitham, and extended his best wishes to the Sultan, the Omani people, and his hopes for stronger ties between the two friendly countries.
The meeting discussed ways to enhance cooperation between Oman and Kuwait to serve their mutual interests, affirming a commitment to expanding cooperation in line with the aspirations of the two nations.
The discussions also included an exchange of views on regional and international issues of mutual interest.
Oman and Kuwait underscored their agreement on the need to bolster regional and international cooperation to establish security and peace. The discussion highlighted the importance of Arab solidarity, especially concerning regional issues in the region, foremost among them being the Palestinian cause.
The meeting was attended by Sheikh Ahmed Almaskari, Head of the Foreign Ministry’s Department for the GCC and Region; Dr Saleh Alkharusi, Oman’s Ambassador to Kuwait; and several officials from Oman and Kuwait.
