Conclusion of Foreign Ministry Staff Development Programme

Under the patronage of Foreign Minister Sayyid Badr Albusaidi, the Ministry's Talent and Capability Development Programme was concluded at the Diplomatic Club.

The programme aimed to raise diplomatic skills among staff and to consolidate the vision of the Sultanate of Oman as a friend to all peoples in the diversity of their cultures. It also sought to encourage international professionalism in the practice of cultural diplomacy, helping staff to get acquainted and coexist with other cultures. The ultimate goal of the Talents and Capabilities Development Programme is to train staff as practitioners of cultural diplomacy at the very highest level.

The Programme also sought to enhance individual talents and capabilities in order to raise diplomatic efficiency, enhancing international interactions in all their richness, while cultivating the open attitude of Omani diplomats to different cultures and peoples.

As part of the Programme's conclusion, the Foreign Ministry signed a statement of cooperation with the International Centre for Innovation in Education based in Germany.
