His Majesty arrives in Russia

His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik arrived in the Russian Federation for a two-day state visit.

A formal reception ceremony was held for His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik at Vnukovo Airport in Moscow.

At the foot of the aircraft stairs, he was received by Maksim Reshetnikov, Minister of Economic Development, along with a number of officials from the Russian Federation and members of the Embassy of the Sultanate of Oman in Moscow.

His Majesty inspected the Guard of Honour, after which the Omani Royal Anthem and the Russian Federation’s national anthem were played.

A formal reception will be held for His Majesty The Sultan tomorrow at the Kremlin Palace in Moscow. During the visit, His Majesty will meet with President Vladimir Putin of the Russian Federation, and the two leaders will hold official talks.
