Brazil: Embassy holds National Day reception

The Embassy of the Sultanate of Oman to the Federal Republic of Brazil held a reception on the occasion of the fifty-third National Day.

Talal Sulaiman Habib Alrahbi, Ambassador of the Sultanate of Oman to the Federal Republic of Brazil, delivered a speech in which he stressed the depth and strength of relations between Oman and Brazil. He said relations were in continuous development, as witnessed by the signing of a number of memoranda of understanding and agreements in various fields.

The Ambassador noted that economic relations have witnessed a noticeable development in the volume of investments and trade between the two countries. He said that there are promising investment opportunities in Oman in key sectors such as renewable energy, green hydrogen, and agriculture.

The ceremony was attended by Ambassadors, members of the Brazilian National Congress, representatives of the Brazilian government and the Federal District as well as a number of personalities, business executives and journalists.
