Brazil: Ambassador at meeting with President

Oman's Ambassador to Brazil, Talal Sulaiman Habib Alrahbi, took part in a meeting at the Embassy of the State of Palestine to Brazil, of the Ambassadors of Arab and Islamic countries with Luis Inacio Lula da Silva, President of the Federal Republic of Brazil.

Delivering a speech to the meeting, President Lula said: “The time has come to put an end to the humanitarian catastrophe that has befallen more than two million Palestinians living in Gaza.”

“There are already nearly 30,000 dead, most of whom are children, the elderly, and defenceless women, and more than 80% of the population have been forced from their homes,” he added.
