Political Undersecretary meets UN coordinator for Yemen

Sheikh Khalifa Alharthy, Foreign Ministry Undersecretary for Political Affairs, received today in Muscat David Gressly, the United Nations Resident Coordinator and Humanitarian Affairs Coordinator in Yemen.

The meeting reviewed the UN's humanitarian relief work in Yemen and the latest developments in the transfer of oil derivatives from the FSO Safer tanker near the port of Hodeidah.

There was also an exchange of views on the political process in Yemen and the efforts being made to resolve the issue through diplomatic means.
