Royal Decree appoints non-resident Ambassadors

His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik today issued a Royal Decree (No. 81/2023) appointing non-resident ambassadors.

Article (1) appoints Badr Mohammed Badr Al Mantheri, the Sultanate of Oman’s Ambassador to the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland, as Oman’s non-resident Ambassador to Ireland, the Republic of Montenegro, the Republic of Estonia, the Republic of Lithuania and the Republic of Latvia.

Article (2) appoints His Highness Sayyid Nazar Al Julanda Majid Alsaid, the Sultanate of Oman’s Ambassador to the Italian Republic, as Oman’s non-resident Ambassador to the Republic of Malta, the Republic of Greece, the Republic of Bosnia and Herzegovina, the Republic of Albania, Romania and the Republic of San Marino.

Article (3) appoints Maitha Saif Almahrouqi, the Sultanate of Oman’s Ambassador to the Federal Republic of Germany, as Oman’s non-resident Ambassador to the Kingdom of Sweden, the Kingdom of Norway, the Kingdom of Denmark, the Republic of Poland and the Republic of Finland.

Article (4) appoints Talal Sulaiman Alrahbi, the Sultanate of Oman’s Ambassador to the Federative Republic of Brazil, as Oman’s non-resident Ambassador to the Argentine Republic, the Republic of Paraguay, the Republic of Peru, the Plurinational State of Bolivia and the Republic of Chile.

Article (5) appoints Mahmoud bin Hamad Alhasani, the Sultanate of Oman’s Ambassador to the Swiss Confederation, as Oman’s non-resident Ambassador to the Principality of Liechtenstein and the Vatican City (Holy See).

Article (6) appoints Hamood bin Salim bin Abdullah Altowaiya, the Sultanate of Oman’s Ambassador to the Russian Federation, as Oman’s non-resident Ambassador to the Republic of Belarus.

Article (7) appoints Omar Said Alkathiri, the Sultanate of Oman’s Ambassador to the Kingdom of Spain, as Oman’s non-resident Ambassador to the Principality of Andorra.
