His Majesty issues two decrees
His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik today issued two royal decrees reading as follows:
Royal decree No. (97/2022) establishes an embassy for the Sultanate of Oman in the Republic of Singapore.
Article (1) establishes an embassy for the Sultanate of Oman in the Republic of Singapore.
Article (2) cancels Royal decree No. (111/2010) on establishing a consulate general for the Sultanate of Oman in the Republic of Singapore.
Article (3) says that this decree shall be published in the Official Gazette and enforced from its date of issue.
Royal decree No. (98/2022) appoints ambassadors.
Article (1) grants the title of ambassador to the following and determines their placements:
1- Plenipotentiary Minister Sheikh Mohammed Ahmed Salim Al Shanfari (as Oman’s Ambassador to the Republic of Indonesia).
2- Plenipotentiary Minister Eng. Nasser Said Abdullah Al Manwari (as Oman’s Ambassador to the Republic of the Philippines).
3- Adviser Issa Saleh Abdullah Al Shibani (as Oman’s Ambassador to the Republic of India).
Article (2) says that this decree shall be published in the Official Gazette and enforced from its date of issue.
