Foreign Minister receives Patriarch John X of Antioch

Oman’s Foreign Minister Sayyid Badr Albusaidi, received at the Ministry today, Patriarch John X of Antioch in the Syrian Arab Republic.

The Patriarch expressed his thanks and appreciation for the warm welcome he received, praising the efforts undertaken by Oman to spread peace, tolerance and coexistence.

During the meeting, efforts to enhance political and diplomatic dialogue in order to achieve stability, security and regional and international peace were reviewed.

The meeting was attended by a number of Foreign Ministry officials and the delegation accompanying the guest during his visit to the Sultanate of Oman.
