Minister holds talks with Italian Deputy Prime Minister
Foreign Minister of the Sultanate of Oman, Sayyid Badr Albusaidi held a bilateral meeting in Rome with Antonio Tajani, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation of the Republic of Italy.
The Ministers discussed the friendship between Oman and Italy, their historical ties, and ways to strengthen cooperation in key sectors.
They also reviewed regional and international developments, underlining the importance of continued coordination and the role of diplomacy and dialogue in addressing challenges and promoting security, stability and prosperity for all.
Sayyid Badr expressed Oman's appreciation to the Italian government for its support of the Iran-US dialogue and for facilitating the second round of these talks in the Italian capital, Rome.
Antonio Tajani praised the friendship and cooperation between Italy and Oman.
He affirmed Italy's commitment to strengthening this relationship, which is based on trust and mutual respect, and to supporting all efforts aimed at fostering regional and global peace and reconciliation.
The meeting was attended by Sayyid Nazar Aljulanda Alsaid, Oman’s Ambassador Italy, along with officials from both countries.
