Uzbekistan: Oman at Samarkand International Climate Forum

AlSayyida Wafa Albusaidi Ambassador of the Sultanate of Oman to Uzbekistan attended a session of the Samarkand International Climate Forum, in the city of Samarkand.

The Forum was held under the auspices of President Shavkat Mirziyoyev of the Republic of Uzbekistan, and in the presence of Central Asian leaders and European Union officials.

The forum emphasised the importance of coordinating regional and international efforts to address the environmental challenges facing Central Asia.

It also proposed initiatives aimed at strengthening joint climate action.
