Oman condemns ongoing Israeli aggression in Gaza

The Foreign Ministry expresses the Sultanate of Oman’s condemnation of the ongoing aggression by Israeli occupation forces against the Gaza Strip.

The Ministry also condemns the deliberate targeting of innocent civilians including the bombing of a shelter at the Dar Alarqam School in Altuffah neighbourhood, and the destruction of a warehouse containing medical and relief supplies belonging to the Saudi Centre for Culture and Heritage.

Oman reiterates its call for the international community and the UN Security Council to take decisive measures to protect civilians and to halt these ongoing and grave violations of international law.

Oman also calls for justice for the Palestinian people through an end to the Israeli occupation and the securing of their legitimate rights, especially the establishment of an independent state with East Jerusalem as its capital, in accordance with legitimate international resolutions and the Arab Peace Initiative.
