His Majesty issues two Royal Decrees
His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik Al Said has issued two Royal Decrees making transfers and appointments in the Diplomatic Corps of the Sultanate of Oman as follows:
Royal Decree (No. 33/2025) transfers His Highness Sayyid Faisal bin Turki bin Mahmoud Al Said from his post as Oman's Ambassador to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Permanent Representative to the Organisation of Islamic Cooperation and Permanent Representative to the Digital Cooperation Organisation in Riyadh to the General Diwan of the Foreign Ministry.
Talal Sulaiman Habib Alrahbi, Ambassador of the Sultanate of Oman to the Federative Republic of Brazil, is transferred and appointed as Oman's Ambassador to the United States of America.
Abdul Ghaffar Albulushi, Ambassador of the Sultanate of Oman to the People’s Republic of Bangladesh, is transferred and appointed as Oman's Ambassador to the Federative Republic of Brazil.
Ambassador Sayyed Najib bin Hilal bin Saud Al Busaidi is appointed as Oman's Ambassador to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Permanent Representative of the Sultanate of Oman to the Organisation of Islamic Cooperation and Permanent Representative of the Sultanate of Oman to the Digital Cooperation Organisation in Riyadh.
Thamer bin Fayyaz bin Khalfan Al Alawi is granted the title of Ambassador and is appointed as Oman's Ambassador to the Kingdom of Spain.
Royal Decree (No. 34/2025) appoints Issa Saleh Abdullah Saleh Alshibani, Oman's Ambassador to the Republic of India as Oman's non resident Ambassador to the Kingdom of Bhutan.
