Minister meets Iranian Foreign Minister in Jeddah

Oman's Foreign Minister, Sayyid Badr Albusaidi, met with Dr Abbas Araghchi Foreign Minister of the Islamic Republic of Iran, on the sidelines of the extraordinary meeting of the Organisation of Islamic Cooperation in Jeddah.

The Ministers discussed relations between the two friendly countries and ways to enhance cooperation.

They also exchanged views on rapidly evolving regional and international developments, emphasising the importance of promoting dialogue and diplomatic efforts to achieve fair and peaceful solutions to various conflicts, while fostering security, stability and peace for all.

The meeting was attended by officials from both Oman and Iran.
