Minister meets Uzbek Foreign Minister in Tashkent

Oman's Foreign Minister Sayyid Badr Albusaidi met with Bakhtiyor Saidov, the Foreign Minister of Uzbekistan, as part of his official visit to Uzbekistan.

The Ministers discussed bilateral cooperation and how to enhance it across various fields, reaffirming the strong ties between the two friendly countries. They expressed their shared interest in strengthening collaboration in the economic, trade, and investment sectors, as well as in education, culture, tourism, and renewable energy.

The discussions also covered opportunities for cooperation in infrastructure and logistics to advance economic partnership and mutual interests.

The Ministers also exchanged views on regional and international issues of common concern, emphasising the importance of enhancing consultation and coordination to support stability, security, and sustainable development for all.

The meeting was attended by Wafa bint Jabr Al Busaidiyah, Oman's Ambassador to Uzbekistan, along with various officials from both Oman and Uzbekistan.
