Oman and Bahrain discuss combating human trafficking

A delegation from the National Committee to Combat Human Trafficking (NCCHT) visited the Kingdom of Bahrain, to exchange expertise with Bahrain's NCCHT.

The delegation from Oman was briefed on the experiences, mechanisms and procedures implemented in Bahrain to combat this international crime.

The delegation, headed by Dr Ahmed bin Taleb Al Jabri, Vice Chairman of Oman's NCCHT, met with officials from the Bahraini NCCHT, and a number of officials from Bahrain's Interior and Foreign Ministries as well as  representatives of the Bahrain Police.

Oman and Bahrain recently signed a memorandum of understanding on cooperation in the field of combating human trafficking.
