His Majesty sends greetings to head of Syrian Transitional Administration
The head of the Syrian Transitional Administration, Ahmad Al Shara, met with Sheikh Abdulaziz bin Abdullah Alhinai, Ambassador at large of the Foreign Ministry, at the People's Palace in the Syrian capital, Damascus.
During the meeting, Sheikh Abdulaziz conveyed the greetings of His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik to the Syrian leadership and people.
He emphasised Oman's keenness to strengthen the fraternal relations between the two countries and their brotherly peoples. He reiterated Oman’s steadfast position in respecting the will and national choices of the Syrian people and supporting international and regional efforts that align with their aspirations while preserving Syria’s unity and sovereignty.
