Oman and Maldives hold political talks
The Sultanate of Oman and the Republic of Maldives reviewed relations between the two friendly countries during political discussions held in Muscat.
Both countries expressed their commitment to enhancing cooperation in diplomatic, economic and tourism sectors.
The session was chaired by Foreign Minister Sayyid Badr Albusaidi and Maldivian Foreign Minister Dr Abdulla Khaleel.
The two Ministers signed a Memorandum of Understanding on political consultations between their respective ministries, reflecting their commitment to strengthening bilateral coordination.
The session was attended by Ambassador Sheikh Abdulaziz bin Mohammed Al Housani, Head of the Asia and Pacific Department, along with several officials.
