Foreign Minister departs to lead delegation to Oman Saudi Coordination Council

Oman's Foreign Minister Sayyid Badr Albusaidi departed for Al Ula, Saudi Arabia, leading a delegation of senior Omani officials to participate in the second meeting of the Oman Saudi Coordination Council, scheduled to take place later today.

The delegation accompanying the Minister includes: Lieutenant General Abdullah bin Ali Al Harthy, Assistant Inspector General of Police and Customs for Operations and Chairman for Oman of the Security and Judicial Coordination Committee; Sheikh Khalifa Alharthy, Foreign Ministry Undersecretary for Political Affairs and Chairman for Oman of the Political and Diplomatic Coordination Committee ; His Highness Sayyid Faisal bin Turki bin Mahmoud Al Said, Oman's Ambassador to Saudi Arabia; Sayyid Said bin Sultan Al Busaidi, Undersecretary for Culture, Media, Tourism, and Social Development of the Ministry of Culture, Sports, and Youth; Dr Saleh bin Said Masan, Undersecretary for Trade and Industry of the Ministry of Commerce, Industry, and Investment Promotion and Chairman for Oman of the Economic, Trade, and Industry Coordination Committee; and Mulhim bin Basheer Al Jarf, Deputy President for Investment at the Oman Investment Authority.

The meeting will discuss cooperation initiatives between the two brotherly countries and follow up on the implementation cooperation and integration programmes between Oman and Saudi Arabia in various fields.
