Gulf Statistics Day marked in Muscat

Oman's Foreign Minister Sayyid Badr Albusaidi participated in the celebration of Gulf Statistics Day, an event hosted by Jasem Mohamed AlBudaiwii, Secretary General of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC).

The celebration was attended by the heads of statistical agencies from GCC member states, the heads of Gulf missions to the Sultanate of Oman, and various diplomats and officials from the Foreign Ministry.

The event, held in Muscat, featured presentations by the GCC Statistical Centre, which is based in the Omani capital. It highlighted key achievements and challenges across the GCC, as well as future directions for statistical work and its digital and smart applications to support the sustainable development goals of the GCC countries.
