Minister meets with Deputy Prime Minister of Bahrain
Oman's Foreign Minister Sayyid Badr Albusaidi held a meeting with Sheikh Khalid bin Abdulla Al Khalifa, Deputy Prime Minister of Bahrain, on the sidelines of the Joint Arab Islamic Summit in the Saudi capital, Riyadh.
The meeting addressed relations between the Sultanate of Oman and the Kingdom of Bahrain and discussed ways to strengthen cooperation in various fields. Both sides highlighted the importance of enhancing strategic partnerships to serve mutual interests and support integration between the two countries.
The discussions also covered regional and international issues, with agreement that it was necessary to continue efforts to promote Arab and Islamic cooperation in the face of rising challenges and to support initiatives aimed at achieving a comprehensive and just peace in the region.
The meeting was attended by Sayyid Faisal bin Turki Al Said, Ambassador of the Sultanate of Oman to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and Permanent Representative to the Organisation of Islamic Cooperation; Ambassador Abdullah bin Nasser Al Rahbi, Ambassador of the Sultanate of Oman to Egypt and its Permanent Representative to the Arab League; Sheikh Faisal bin Omar Al Marhoon, Head of the Foreign Ministry's Arab Department; and a number of officials from Oman and Bahrain.
