Foreign Minister and new Iranian counterpart discuss cooperation

Oman's Foreign Minister Sayyid Badr Albusaidi held a telephone call with Dr Abbas Araghchi, the new Foreign Minister of the Islamic Republic of Iran.

The Minister expressed his wishes for success to his Iranian counterpart stressing the long standing and friendly relations between Oman and Iran, adding that he hoped to continue developing them in various fields to achieve security and stability in the region.

The Iranian Minister emphasised the importance of continuing consultation between the two countries to serve their common interests and enhance areas of cooperation.
