Oman welcomes Slovenia’s recognition of Palestine

Oman has welcomed of the Republic of Slovenia’s recognition of the State of Palestine.

In a statement, the Foreign Ministry said it appreciated the decision and encouraged the rest of the international community to follow suit to guarantee the right of the Palestinian people to establish an independent state and to strengthen efforts towards the two-state solution and lasting and sustainable peace in the region.
