Arab Parliament confers Leader's Order on His Majesty

At the behest of His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik, His Highness Sayyid Asaad bin Tarik Al Said, Deputy Prime Minister for International Relations and Cooperation Affairs and Special Representative of His Majesty, received the “Leader’s Order” conferred on His Majesty by the Arab Parliament.

The medal is the highest honour conferred on Arab leaders by the Parliament.

The medal was conferred on His Majesty in appreciation of his outstanding efforts in addressing  issues of concern to the Arab nation and his continuous endeavours in support of joint Arab action.

The conferment of the medal took place when Sayyid Asaad received Adel Abdulrahman Al Asoomi, Speaker of the Arab Parliament and his accompanying delegation in Muscat.

The conferment ceremony was attended by Khalid bin Hilal Al Maawali, Chairman of the Shura Council; the Secretary-General and Adviser to Sayyid Asaad’s Office and members of the Arab Parliament.
