Foreign Minister in phone call with Jordanian counterpart

Sayyid Badr Albusaidi, Foreign Minister of the Sultanate of Oman, and Ayman Al Safadi, Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, held  a phone call.

The Ministers exchanged views on regional affairs and efforts to reduce tension and to prevent the escalation of conflicts.

They discussed the ongoing efforts to achieve a ceasefire in the Gaza Strip and to reach a just and lasting solution to the Palestinian issue on the basis of the two-state solution in accordance with international resolutions and the Arab Peace Initiative.

The Ministers also reviewed the progress of the strong relations between Oman and Jordan and their strengthening in all fields.
