Oman condemns bombing of Iranian consulate in Damascus
The Foreign Ministry expressed Oman’s condemnation and denunciation of the bombing that targeted the Iranian consulate in Damascus.
In an official statement, the Ministry said the bombing was a violation of the sovereignty of the Syrian Arab Republic and all international diplomatic laws and immunities. It called for the protection and preservation of diplomatic and consular missions.
The Ministry stressed the need to stop the escalation in the region and reject aggression and other actions that threaten security and stability. It sent its condolences to the families of the victims and its wishes for a speedy recovery for the injured.
