Oman meeting of GCC Foreign Ministers with Egyptian Foreign Minister
Oman's Foreign Minister Sayyid Badr Albusaidi participated in a meeting between the Foreign Ministers of the states of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) and Sameh Shoukry, the Foreign Minister of the Arab Republic of Egypt, at the headquarters of the GCC Secretariat in Riyadh, with the attendance of the GCC Secretary General.
The meeting discussed the challenges facing the region, foremost among them being the Israeli occupation forces' war on the Gaza Strip.
They agreed on uniting efforts to pressure the international community for an immediate ceasefire and the cessation of Israeli military operations, as well as the permanent opening of the Rafah crossing to ensure the delivery of all relief supplies to meet the humanitarian needs of the Palestinian people.
They also signed a joint action plan between the GCC and Egypt, which aims to create a partnership in the political, security, and economic fields, and others.
