Oman and Brunei hold consultative meeting
The Foreign Affairs Ministries of Oman and Brunei held their 22nd consultative meeting in the Brunei capital Bandar Seri Begawan.
Oman was represented by Sheikh Khalifa Alharthy, Undersecretary for Political Affairs, while Brunei was represented by Permanent Secretary Pengiran Norhashimah binti Pengiran Mohd Hassan.
They discussed ways to develop economic and investment cooperation, especially in logistics, clean energy, green hydrogen and cultural and educational exchanges. They also talked about regional and international issues of mutual interest.
Ambassador Alharthy also met with Dato Seri Setia Haji Erywan bin Pehin Datu Pekerma Jaya Haji Mohd. Yusof, Second Minister of Foreign Affairs, and Undersecretary Jafri bin Abdul Rahman, Acting Director of the Brunei Investment Agency.
The Ambassador also visited the Golden Corporation Company, a fish farming subsidiary of the Oman Brunei Investment Company.
The meetings were also attended by Erma Said Samhan Alkathiry, Oman's Ambassador to Brunei.
