His Majesty meets Indian Foreign Minister

His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik received this evening in the Indian capital, New Delhi, Dr Subrahmanyam Jaishankar, External Affairs Minister of the Republic of India.

The meeting reviewed the close relations between the two friendly countries and discussed how to advance those relations. The meeting also saw consultation and an exchange of views on a number of topics, regional and international events and issues of mutual interest.

The meeting was attended from the Oman by Sayyid Badr Albusaidi, Foreign Minister, and Issa Saleh Abdullah Alshibani, Oman’s ambassador to India.

From India it was attended by Mukesh Paradeshi, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs for Consular and Overseas Indian  Affairs; Aseem Raja Mahajan, Joint Secretary for Gulf Affairs and Amit Narang, India's Ambassador to Oman.
