Oman and the Netherlands hold political consultations

The twenty-ninth round of political consultations between the Sultanate of Oman and the Kingdom of the Netherlands was held today, at  the Foreign Ministry in Muscat.

The Omani delegation was headed by Sheikh Khalifa Alharthy, Foreign Ministry Undersecretary for Political Affairs, and the Netherlands' delegation by Paul Huijts, Secretary General of the Dutch Foreign Ministry.

The consultations reviewed the existing relations between Oman and the Netherlands, with agreement on the desire of both sides to continue developing cooperation in all fields. A number of regional and international issues of common interest were also discussed.

The session was attended by Stella Kloth, Dutch Ambassador to Oman; Ambassador Munther Almandhari, Head of the Foreign Ministry's Europe Department, and a number of Omani and Dutch officials.
