Foreign Minister consults Turkish Foreign Minister over Gaza

Oman's Foreign Minister Sayyid Badr Albusaidi, consulted this evening with Hakan Fidan, Foreign Minister of the Republic of Turkey.

During the phone call, the Ministers discussed the serious events in Gaza and the painful humanitarian situation due to Israel's aggressive military operations. They also discussed the regional and international effort underway to halt the escalation and war and to make possible the delivery of humanitarian relief to people in Gaza.

Both Ministers emphasised the importance of the peace option based on a two-state solution, on the rule of law and international legitimacy, on the right of the Palestinian people to self-determination and on the establishment of their independent state with East Jerusalem as its capital.
