Sayyid Badr meets Lithuanian Foreign Minister

Oman's Foreign Minister Sayyid Badr Albusaidi, met with Gabrielius Landsbergis, Foreign Minister of the Republic of Lithuania, on the sidelines of the Joint Ministerial Council meeting between the Gulf Cooperation Council and the European Union which is being held in Muscat.

The Ministers reviewed relations between the two countries and discussed ways to advance cooperation, especially in the areas of tourism and economic cooperation, renewable energy, agriculture and port logistics.

During the meeting the Ministers signed a memorandum of understanding regarding tourism.

The meeting was attended by Ambassador Munther Almandhari, Head of the Foreign Ministry's Europe Department and a number of Omani and Lithuanian officials.
