His Majesty receives letter sent by Japanese PM

His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik received a written message from Fumio Kishida, Prime Minister of Japan.

The message deals with the advanced relations between the two countries and matters of common interest.

It was handed over by Nishimura Yasutoshi, Japanese Minister of Economy, Trade and Industry, when his Majesty granted him an audience at Al Barakah Palace today.

The Minister conveyed greetings and best wishes of the Japanese Prime Minister to His Majesty and the Omani people.

His Majesty in turn asked the Minister to convey his sincere sentiments to the Prime Minister and the people of Japan.

During the audience, areas of joint cooperation in various fields were reviewed.

It was attended by Engineer Salim Nasser Al Aufi, Minister of Energy and Minerals; Jota Yamamoto, Japan's Ambassador to Oman and members of the delegation accompanying the Japanese Minister.
