Iranian President receives Oman's Foreign Minister

Dr Ebrahim Raisi, President of the Islamic Republic of Iran received in Tehran today Sayyid Badr Albusaidi, Foreign Minister of Oman.

During the meeting, Sayyid Badr conveyed the  greetings and best wishes of His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik to President Raisi and the people of Iran.

The Iranian President in turn expressed his appreciation and best wishes to His Majesty the Sultan and the Omani people, wishing the relations between the two countries further progress. President Raisi also expressed his greetings to the Sultanate of Oman on the 52nd National Day.

The meeting reviewed relations between Oman and Iran and underscored the joint keenness to promote them in various spheres to serve the interests of the two countries and meet the aspirations of their peoples.

The two sides also exchanged views on regional and international developments.

The meeting was attended by Dr Hossein Amir Abdollahian, Iranian Foreign Minister; Ibrahim bin Ahmed Almuaini, Oman's Ambassador to Iran; Ambassador Khalid Almuslahi, Head of the Minister's Office Department and a number of officials from both sides.
