Foreign Ministry and Oman Post sign partnership agreement
A cooperation and partnership agreement was signed today between the Foreign Ministry and Oman Post.
The agreement aims to expand, speed up and make simpler the consular services of the Ministry.
Oman Post provides some consular services to citizens, residents and visitors through postal branches throughout Oman, under the supervision of the Ministry.
The first stage from next August will provide authentication services for official documents. The Ministry will continue to provide its current services through its consular department.
The agreement was signed by Mohammed Alwahaibi, Foreign Ministry Undersecretary for Administrative and Financial Affairs and Mr Nasser Al-Sharji, CEO of Oman Post.
