Oman and the United States sign an agreement on the employment of spouses of official employees

A bilateral work agreement was signed between the Sultanate of Oman and the United States of America concerning the employment of spouses of official employees. Mohammed Alwahaibi, Foreign  Ministry Undersecretary  for Administrative and Financial Affairs and Leslie M. Tsou, the U.S. ambassador to the Sultanate signed the agreement today at the Foreign Ministry.

The agreement authorises spouses of official employees in diplomatic missions to work in non-government institutions in the receiving country.

The signing of this agreement comes in the context of the distinguished relations between Oman and the United States and the desire of both countries to enhance and develop cooperation between them.
