Oman and Greece sign agreements
The Sultanate of Oman and the Republic of Greece today signed an agreement between the two countries on mutual visa waiver arrangements for holders of diplomatic, special and service passports.
The agreement was signed at the Foreign Ministry in Muscat on behalf of the governments of the two countries by Sayyid Badr Albusaidi, Oman’s Foreign Minister and Nikolaos Georgios Dendias, Minister of Foreign Affairs for Greece.
The two sides also signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) covering political consultations between Oman and Greece.
The agreement signing ceremony was attended by Sheikh Khalifa Alharthy, Undersecretary for Diplomatic Affairs of the Foreign Ministry, Alexis Konstantopoulos, Ambassador of the Republic of Greece to the Sultanate of Oman and officials from both sides.
