Algeria: Ambassador meets petrol company executive

Oman's Ambassador to the People’s Democratic Republic of Algeria, Saif Nasser Rashid Al Badaai, visited Rachid Hachichi, Director General of the Sonatrach Group, at his office in the Hydra municipality in Algiers.

Their discussion focused on prospects for future cooperation and the agreements signed in Muscat with the Omani companies Abraj Energy Services and OQ.

In April 2024, OQ and Abraj signed two memoranda of understading with Sonatrach, Africa's largest company, to foster cooperation and knowledge exchange in oil and gas field services, integrated energy project management between Oman and Algeria and the development of renewable energy sources.
