Foreign Minister participates in WHO discussion on “Health for Peace”

Foreign Minister Sayyid Badr Albusaidi attended a panel discussion on “Health for Peace” during a meeting of the World Health Organisation (WHO) Regional Committee for the Eastern Mediterranean at its 68th session. He took part at the invitation of His Excellency Dr Ahmed bin Mohammed AlSaidi, Minister of Health.

In his speech, Sayyid Badr spoke of the importance of highlighting the basic relationship between health and peace. He also stressed the importance of international cooperation towards combating the emerging coronavirus pandemic and providing vaccines against COVID-19 to all peoples of the world in a fair manner.
