UN Special Envoy leaves Muscat for Yemeni capital
Hans Grundberg, envoy of the Secretary-General of the United Nations for Yemen, has left Muscat for the Yemeni capital, Sana'a, on his first visit since his appointment last August.
His departure follows meetings and discussions with Oman’s Foreign Minister, Sayyid Badr Albusaidi, a number of officials in the Sultanate and Mr Muhammad Abdul Salam, head of the Sana’a negotiating delegation, on procedures for stabilising the two month truce in Yemen and the requirements for a comprehensive settlement.
