
Oman and Algeria explore cooperation in transport and logistics
The Sultanate of Oman, represented by the Ministry of Transport, Communications and Information Technology, held official talks in Muscat with the People's Democratic Republic of Algeria.
The talks discussed ways to enhance cooperation in transport and logistics.
The session was chaired for Oman by Said Almaawali, Minister of Transport, Communications and Information Technology, and for Algeria by Said Sayoud, Minister of Transport.
The session reviewed ways to strengthen existing cooperation between Oman and Algeria in the fields of transport and logistics, in a way that serves their mutual interests and brings further benefits to both friendly peoples.
The Algerian delegation visited Salalah Port and Free Zone to learn about Oman's experience in the transport and logistics sector.
The session was attended by a number of Undersecretaries and officials and specialists from both sides.
