Oman helps transfer of US citizen from Tehran

Following instructions from His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik, authorities in Oman have worked in coordination with the authorities in the Islamic Republic of Iran to arrange the transfer of Muhammad Baquer Namazi from Tehran to Muscat today on a plane of the Royal Air Force of Oman. This is in preparation for his safe return to his country.

The Iranian authorities responded with gratitude to efforts which the Omani authorities made in response to a request from the US government and for humanitarian reasons.
