Oman's Ambassador to Maldives presents his credentials
Ahmed bin Ali bin Saeid Alrashidi, Oman's Ambassador to the Democratic Socialist Republic of Sri Lanka, presented his credentials in Malé as the non-resident Ambassador of the Sultanate of Oman to the Republic of the Maldives to Dr Mohamed Muizzu, President of the Republic of the Maldives.
The Ambassador conveyed the greetings of His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik and His Majesty's wishes for good health and happiness to the Maldivian President and further development and prosperity for the people of the Maldives.
The Ambassador expressed the keenness of His Majesty's Government's to strengthen relations between the two friendly countries and to enhance cooperation in all fields to serve their mutual interests.
President Muizzu entrusted the Ambassador to convey his best wishes to His Majesty and to the Omani people for continued progress and prosperity.
The President welcomed the Ambassador and wished him success in his duties, hoping for further progress and prosperity in the relations between Oman and the Maldives.
The Ambassador also met with the Maldivian Foreign Minister, Moussa Zameer, and discussed ways to enhance cooperation between the two friendly countries.
