His Majesty meets Turkish Vice President

His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik met in the Turkish capital Ankara with Dr Cevdet Yilmaz, Vice President of the Republic of Türkiye.

The meeting discussed the importance of opening broader horizons for investment and economic cooperation between Oman and Türkiye and strengthening ties to serve the peoples of the two countries and achieve common benefits.

The meeting was attended from Oman by His Highness Sayyid Shihab bin Tarik Al Said, Deputy Prime Minister for Defence Affairs; Sayyid Khalid bin Hilal Al Busaidi, Minister of the Diwan of Royal Court; Sayyid Badr bin Hamad Al Busaidi, Foreign Minister; Dr Hamad bin Said Al Aufi, Head of the Royal Office; and Ambassador Saif bin Rashid Al Jahwari, Oman's Ambassador to Turkey.

It was attended from Türkiye by Mehmet Simsek, Minister of Treasury and Finance; Omer Bolat, Minister of Trade; Ambassador Muhammet Hekimoğlu, Ambassador of the Republic of Turkey to the Sultanate of Oman, and a number of officials from the Republic of Türkiye.
