Prime Minister of Kuwait receives Foreign Minister
His Highness Sheikh Ahmed Abdullah Al Ahmad Al Sabah, Prime Minister of the sisterly State of Kuwait, received Oman’s Foreign Minister, Sayyid Badr Albusaidi at Bayan Palace during his visit Kuwait to participate in the tenth session of the Oman Kuwait Joint Committee.
The meeting reviewed the distinguished relations between the two countries and ways to enhance them across various political, economic and cultural fields.
The two Ministers also addressed regional and international issues of mutual concern.
They affirmed the need to support international efforts to stop the Israeli occupation forces’ aggression against Gaza and Lebanon, to de-escalate the severe tensions in the region and to pursue political solutions that promote security, stability and peace for all.
The meeting was attended by Sheikh Ahmed Almaskari, Head of the Foreign Ministry’s Department for the Gulf Cooperation Council and Region; Dr Saleh Alkharusi, Oman’s Ambassador to Kuwait; and various officials from Oman and Kuwait.
