Foreign Minister in phone call with Iraqi Foreign Minister
Oman's Foreign Minister Sayyid Badr Albusaidi, had a phone conversation with Dr Fuad Hussein, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Iraq.
During the call, in reference to the American attacks on sites in Iraq, Sayyid Badr expressed the Sultanate’s solidarity with Iraq, its security, sovereignty and territorial integrity.
The Ministers agreed on the importance of preventing the expansion of the circle of conflict in the region and on making it a priority to stop the ongoing Israeli war in the Gaza Strip. They also agreed on continuing international efforts to reach a complete and permanent ceasefire and to pave the way for achieving a just and comprehensive peace with the participation of all parties.
