India: Oman participates in World Heritage Committee meetings
Oman is taking part in the 46th session of the World Heritage Committee meetings organised by the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organisation (UNESCO) in the Indian capital, Delhi, until July 31.
Oman's delegation is headed by Hamad Saif Al Hammami, Oman's Permanent Representative to UNESCO.
Delegates will discuss the implementation of the outcomes of the expanded 45th session of the Committee and cases of preservation of properties included on the World Heritage List.
They will also discuss nominations for provisional lists submitted by member states, nominations submitted to the World Heritage List and updating the list of endangered World Heritage sites.
