Foreign Minister chairs Ministerial Council session ahead of GCC Summit
Oman's Foreign Minister, Sayyid Badr Albusaidi, Foreign presided over the 154th session of the Ministerial Council in preparation for the 43rd GCC Summit.
The session was held at the headquarters of the Gulf Cooperation Council Secretariat General in Riyadh today in the presence of GCC foreign ministers and the GCC Secretary-General.
In his speech, Sayyid Badr said that the Gulf Cooperation Council is pressing ahead at a steady pace as outlined by the vision and directives of GCC leaders, in a way that realises the aspirations of GCC peoples in all fields of cooperation.
The preparatory ministerial session considered many matters of Gulf cooperation, which will be submitted at the meeting of the GCC Supreme Council in its 43rd session. The overall aim is to enhance the work of the GCC Council to achieve further progress and development for its countries and to strengthen the foundations of security and stability in the region.
